Job Description
Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Inc., is a leading grower, packer, processer, and shipper of fresh fruits and vegetables headquartered in Florida. We are now seeking a Laboratory Technician who can develop and operate one or more produce and seed postharvest laboratories located at our Salinas location in California.This position must be able to work with a team of other research scientists involved in projects such as product development, germination, vegetable breeding and seed production.

Responsibilities & Duties:
This person will be responsible for developing protocols to analyze product and postharvest attributes including flavor and quality, and optimize transplant survival. The candidate must utilize data from various lab tests to coordinate our seed processing operations with a constant goal to improve the process.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have 1 year experienced in a botany or food laboratory environment or similar qualifying experience, familiarity with an array of laboratory equipment, excellent organizational and communications skills, and advanced experience with the Office Suite of products from Microsoft.
The candidate must communicate and work well with others and have the ability to multitask.
Attention to details is essential.
Education:
Bachelor Degree required in biology or food science.
