Essential duties for the occupational therapy job entails the applicant to correctly assess each patient s needs and develop and implement a plan of care to assist each patient with their developmental, emotional, mental and/or physical impairments. The OT job requires the candidate to have the ability to collaborate with patients, doctors and other health care professionals in order to develop the best course of action for each individual patient.
