3D Writing Systems & Voxel EngineerJob DescriptionAs a 3D Materials & Writings Systems engineer, you will be responsible to develop new printmodes and voxel-level printing algorithms for the Multi-Jet Fusion platform. You will work closely with Materials engineers, Printer hardware teams, customers, and outside powder vendors to broadly expand HP’s material set offering.Key Duties and Responsibilities · Work closely with customers to integrate material and system learnings into new printmodes for release on the Multi-Jet Fusion platform. Create diagnostic plots, define how drops are laid out, translate STL files into print files for printer output, verify mech and material performance, monitor system health and reliability, etc.· Help set a successful collaboration on behalf of the materials programs and deliver across the printer hardware and supplies writing systems community.· Reach timely completion of project deliverables, meeting performance and quality requirements for new material introduction. Manage the system tradeoffs and work in very close partnership with program managers, program integrators and lead engineers.· Provide guidance and leadership to build and stabilize the 3D print systems infrastructure in Corvallis and team growth in FW/Mechware and WS.
